Located in the coastal town of Port Macquarie, Balgownie House is an ode to the owners love of colour. Anything but predictable, the use of colour throughout the home creates drama and embeds a sense of idea and use of each space. With natural light to the rear, the casual living and dining spaces are bright and airy and influenced by the Australian outdoors whilst the low tech areas to the south are drenched in colour to enhance the mood to add drama and to conjure images of speakeasy and the professor with the candlestick in the library.
